Stopped in for breakfast tacos after a morning at the park and it was the perfect hit! This hole in the wall restaurant is always busy, and rightly so. I ordered the chorizo con huevos breakfast tacos, one spicy and one regular. It tasted about the same to me but they were both made like your "tia" made them with love. It was quite busy when I visited so parking was scarce but I now know why this spot is always busy. They had the food out in a timely manner and they are service dog friendly too, as I had my service pup with me.
Hands down the BEST breakfast tacos in Houston. Authentic and the closest I can get to San Antonio style. The flour tortillas are so soft and delicious, carne guisada is legit and the bean and cheese is a can't miss. Call you order ahead. The weekends get super super busy. Be patient, it's worth it.
I really liked their picadillo tacos. The beef fajita tacos didn't have a lot of flavor. I also did not like their Barbacoa tacos. It had big chunks of fat pieces in it. Their tortillas taste good, but are on the thicker side from what I prefer. Ladies working here are so nice and welcoming. They provide excellent service. If you're ordering to go, I do recommend to check your tacos are correct before leaving. As you should with any food establishment. There is no inside eating and there are 3-4 small tables outside. I would only recommend to use when the weather is nice. Otherwise, order your food for pickup.
Amazing Mexican food for breakfast and lunch. Service is prompt and kind. Plus it is perfect for it is right next to a gas station. Highly reccomend. (Especially for breakfast)

Houston has many,many many taco shops. All claim to be great or good but this one is the real deal. It is colocated with a Shell Gas Station on Memorial Drive. These ladies make the BEST breakfast tacos. The dining area is clean and the kitchen staff work with fresh ingredients. I always judge breakfast tacos by the quality of the tortillas. These are always fresh, the papas are thoroughly cooked, golden and crispy on outside and soft inside. The frijoles are not greasy or salty. Made fresh not salty. You can taste the quality of the beans used. Enjoy !
THE BEST BREAKFAST TACOS IN HOUSTON This spot may be a turn off seeing it's in a gas station and the appearance isn't anything special. But the tacos are huge, fresh, and worth every penny. Usually eat 3 anywhere else, but 2 will fill you up here. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
